Since 2014, Elnaz Namaki Studio has been designing unique homes in London. With clients mainly in West London and recently in the USA, our projects have been focused on residential interior design.
Over the years of experience in construction, art, project management, furniture and interiors industries, Elnaz has gained an in-depth knowledge of materials, technical design and detailing.
British-born interior and product designer Elnaz Namaki was educated at the Bartlett and Sotheby’s in London followed by the Sorbonne in Paris before undertaking her first project in 2012 alongside renowned Parisian architect Bruno Moinard. Elnaz went on to work with boutique London-based developers and the Italian furniture company Promemoria where she honed her skills in detail design and bespoke furniture.
Her distinctly multifaceted background in design, construction and art is enhanced further by her cultural roots – with Persian heritage and an English upbringing paired with a love for travel – Elnaz naturally layers and mixes different styles bringing a fresh depth and versatile perspective to the design process. Her playful, understated style married with a strong passion for sourcing antiques from various periods and countries, ensures each project has its own special character.
Elnaz Namaki describes her interiors as a kind of mixology – a refined blend of styles and eras, with a balanced approach to colour and a unique twist of the unexpected. She is known for her playful contrasts mixing old and new creating layered timeless designs with her understanding of space, flow and movement.
Innovative and layered mix of materials, textures, patterns and colour
Every design is bespoke and reflects the character and requirements of the client
Retaining heritage features and developing their potential to maximise space, flow and light
Collaborating with the highest quality craftsmen and artisans, tradesmen and professionals to ensure the highest level of quality
Since the beginning of 2017, we have partnered to offer a complete design and build service to those clients who wish to use a single team from concept to construction. The collaboration focuses on strategic thinking and tailored solutions for practical living.
Our core balance between design and function is complimented by our ability to create a seamless transition from the conceptual beginnings of each project through to execution and successful delivery. This stems from our combined experience, technical understanding and continuous attention to detail.
For original spaces we often design bespoke custom-made furniture, made by our specialist team of English craftsmen, to perfectly suit the surroundings. We also created our own furniture range – the Luuna Collection – which launched during the London Design Fair in 2018. We have also collaborated on a celestial lighting series with French lighting atelier Art et Floritude.
